Nepal Rising is a personal platform created to share ideas, experiences, and a vision shaped across borders, industries, and life stages.

It is founded and driven by Binaya Sharma — an IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience working in critical enterprise environments, and more than 30 years of life and career experience in Japan.

Having built a career at the core of corporate technology — across infrastructure, security, and large-scale systems — I have developed a deep understanding of how modern organizations operate, how digital systems evolve, and how cybersecurity shapes the stability of businesses and society.

Living in Japan for decades has also given me a unique perspective on discipline, culture, and systems thinking — and on how Japan operates as a global player. This long experience has shaped the way I see leadership, responsibility, resilience, and long-term progress.

I am deeply influenced by the spirit of the Samurai — discipline, courage, and focus. These values are not just historical ideals to me, but principles I try to apply in both my professional life and personal journey.

Beyond professional experience, Nepal Rising is also deeply personal. I have a strong interest in global politics, emerging technologies, and the ways they are reshaping the future of humanity.

For many years, music was a passion that remained largely unexpressed. Today, with the advancement of Artificial Intelligence, that passion is becoming a reality — opening new creative possibilities that were once out of reach.
